Today, a director and filmmaker many of you know far better than I, a man who's revered on a number of levels by a great many people. Stanley Kubrick. I've seen exactly four of his movies: Dr. Strangelove, one of my favorite comedies. Full Metal Jacket, which I barely remember except for a fat guy on a bunk bed being pelted with bars of soap wrapped in towels. The Shining, which I remember even less. A Clockwork Orange, which made me kind of urpy, and a song from which was all over the Maxx cartoon I taped back in 1994. You know the one..."I wanna marry a lighthouse keeper and keep him company..." Anyway. You know the routine. What about him did you like, dislike...has he made any significant impact on you, personally, on the way you see films? Do you enjoy him? You know how it goes. Perspectives welcome. :D Tags: perspective ♫: Dethklok ~ "Bloodrocuted"
